Avalanche Company for Electromechanical Works
signed a cooperation protocol with the Center for Engineering, Planning and Architecture Consulting, with the aim of exchanging consultations and expertise between the two sides.
Dr. Wael Zaki, CEO of the center, said that his center will provide consulting services for the projects implemented by the “Avalanche” company.
The center offers its expertise in the field of engineering designs, starting with decoration work and urban planning in its various departments, according to Zaki.
As for the projects whose designs are carried out by the Engineering Center, Avalanche Company will undertake the implementation of its own electromechanical works, such as ventilation, fire-fighting, air-conditioning and refrigeration works.
The protocol comes as part of the economic entities’ shift towards mergers.
Zaki added that this collaboration is in line with the shift of economic entities towards an era of mergers and partnerships, aimed at supporting competitiveness and diversifying activities.
It also aims to expand business according to new standards of performance and efficiency in executing tasks and following appropriate engineering standards.
He noted that his center will also provide consultations to the technical office of Avalanche Electromechanical Works in the fields of project management and maintaining quality and efficiency in the shortest time and at the lowest costs.
Engineering Center Designs Expansion of Alawi Tunsi Hospital in Saudi Arabia
He explained that the Engineering and Planning Consultancy Center operates in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi market accounts for 85% of the center’s business volume.
It operates in the activities of designing and managing real estate projects, residential complexes, and specialized studies in the fields of roads, traffic, real estate marketing, and urban planning.
He revealed that his center is currently undertaking the engineering designs for the “Alawi Tunsi” Hospital project in Mecca. The hospital is constructing a new building on a vacant lot opposite the old hospital building, and the new building will have a capacity of approximately 180 beds.
He also disclosed that the center is responsible for the design of the Zaidi Market on the roadside linking the cities of Mecca and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
He indicated that the center has undertaken the design of 16 hotels in Saudi Arabia over the past five years.
He explained that they have worked on many markets, shopping centers, and residential complexes, some of which include over 20 residential units and have costs exceeding one billion Saudi Riyals.
Zaki: Designing a Paper Factory in the 10th of Ramadan City
He pointed out that the center is currently designing a paper factory in Egypt’s 10th of Ramadan industrial city and is supervising renovation works for several theaters belonging to cultural palaces in the governorates of Minya, Matrouh, and Beni Suef.
He also mentioned the center’s participation in 2011 in the redesign of the city of Borg El Arab, which aimed to diversify the city’s activities from industrial to include tourism and sports activities, as part of the center’s involvement in urban planning, including the development of the Giza Plateau area.

Avalanche Electromechanical Awards Its Shield to the Engineering and Planning Consultancy Center
Ehab Wafaie, the Executive Director of “Avalanche Electromechanical Works,” revealed that his company is currently executing electromechanical works for a hospital in the Maadi area.
The company is also working on a commercial mall in the Pyramids Plateau area, another in the Fifth Settlement area, as well as a hospital in the Sixth of October City.
He highlighted the company’s plan to achieve a business volume of 200 million Egyptian Pounds in the next year, 2020, compared to achieving 70 million Egyptian Pounds in business volume during the current year.
He mentioned the company’s intention to increase its paid-up capital from 40 million Egyptian Pounds currently to 150 million Egyptian Pounds in three stages over the next three years.
He explained that this is part of supporting the company’s financial strength to accommodate its expansions and to implement its modernization and development plan

In this context, Avalanche Company awarded its shield to the Engineering Center in recognition of its outstanding work in the market over the past ten years since its establishment.
The company also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Dr. Wael Zaki, the CEO of the Engineering Center.
Zaki previously held the position of Head of the Giza Engineers Syndicate. He is an urban planning consultant, a lecturer at several Egyptian universities, and a certified trainer at the General Engineers Syndicate and various other institutions
