The protocol involves Avalanche Electromechanical Works acting as a subcontractor and consultant for Nubar Trading Company, exchanging expertise and collaborating to execute joint projects with high efficiency and in a short time frame.

Nubar Achieved 200 Million EGP in Business Last Year
Engineer Yasser Jameel, General Manager of the Contracting Sector at Nubar Trading Company, stated that his company achieved a business volume of 200 million EGP last year and aims to achieve a business volume of 400 million EGP by the end of the current year, 2019. He noted that this year has seen a diversification in the range of clients the company works with, including the Ministry of Military Production, the Ministry of Health, the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and the National Service Projects Organization.
About Nubar Trading Company
He added that his company operates in both contracting and supply activities. It was established in 1969 by its founder, Engineer Mohamed Abdo, who belonged to the generation that participated in the national projects carried out after the July 23, 1952 Revolution, such as the High Dam project and other major electrical projects that were established afterward. At that time, the company’s main activities were in the field of specialized electrical supplies and installations, in addition to electromechanical and architectural contracting. The company subsequently obtained an exclusive agency certificate in Egypt and Sudan for RielloAros Italian-brand U.P.S devices, which prevent power outages, since 1976, as well as ORTEA-brand Stabilizer devices (voltage regulators), which it still holds today.
Jameel revealed that the company’s activities have continued to expand and grow in the contracting sector, advancing through the categories of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors, reaching the third category for integrated works, the first category for supplementary works, and the fourth category for electromechanical works. He noted that his company is now an authorized distributor for Alcatel and Ericsson LG central systems globally, as well as an authorized distributor for surveillance and alarm systems and automatic fire-fighting systems.
Nubar Aims for a Billion EGP Business Volume Next Year

He confirmed that his company aims to achieve a business volume of one billion EGP during the next year, 2020, by competing for and securing major projects in new cities, especially the New Administrative Capital. They also plan to sign a partnership agreement with one of the largest Italian contracting companies after establishing its branch in Egypt. He noted that the company’s shareholders also have investments in ceramic supplies, sanitary ware, home furniture, and an Italian restaurant chain, which are considered sister companies to his company.
He explained that the contracting sector was significantly affected during the year of the Egyptian pound floatation by the decision of the Central Bank of Egypt in November 2016. This led to some contracting companies ceasing their activities, while those with experience and a good reputation in the market continued. Currently, there is a higher demand in the contracting sector than the supply of contracting companies.
Participation in the Dar Misr Project in Fifth Settlement
He indicated that his company is implementing part of the Dar Misr project in the Fifth Settlement area of Cairo in cooperation with the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. The company also built the Social Housing Mosque in the Sixth of October City and handled contracting and supply works for branches of Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt, as well as many branches of foreign banks, such as CIB, QNB, Crédit Agricole, Ahli United, Egyptian Gulf Bank, and the National Bank of Kuwait.
He added that his company is distinguished by delivering its projects ahead of schedule, which has given it a significant competitive advantage in the market alongside work efficiency and quality performance. He mentioned that his company is carrying out electromechanical works for eight branches of Carrefour and is executing works for three new branches of the same chain. The company is also handling works for the branches of the National Bank of Kuwait in Al Masa Hotel in the New Administrative Capital.
